THE WORLD'S FUTURE ENGINEERS

About

FRC team 1015 (our original team number), The Pi Hi Samurai, was founded in 2003 at Pioneer High School. The team competed annually in the FRC program until 2008, after which time the team went defunct due to budget cuts and changes in administration. In the fall of 2013 the team rebooted under a new team number, 1076, SINCE the 2013 season the team has continued to grow. Currently, there are about 70 students on the team with an even spread across the four grades.

 Mission Statement:

The PiHi Samurai create innovators and leaders by engaging them in fun and safe programs that build science, engineering, and business skills and that develop well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, creativity, communication, and teamwork.

Guiding Principles:

1.  We are a team; we support each other and value the free exchange of ideas.

2.  We like to win but it is more important to learn, grow and discover.

3.  We find solutions with guidance from team members & mentors; we teach & learn from each other.

4.  We are STEM role models and are actively involved in our school, community and the world.

5.  We have fun!
